After going to the DCA Top 20 earlier in the year, the goal was to reach the Bronze Grand Champion Level and to hopefully win a Specialty Show or two :). Well – Ryder did just that. This dog is absolutely amazing. He is such a happy dog that when he enters the show ring it is hard to take your eyes off of him. Well done Ryder!!!
Back to Back Shows, Back to Back Wins
The Greater Pittsburgh Dalmatian Club hosted back to back shows on June 21, in Waynesburg PA. Ryder was unstoppable and showed flawlessly!! Winning a Specialty show is a big accomplishment, but to win two back to back shows on the same day – HUGE!!!!!

It started nearly 12 years ago when I was talked into giving the show ring a try. Barb Allison of Rim Rock Dalmatians entrusted me with the dog of a life time. Ryder made this newbie look good in the show ring. He became a multiple specialty show winner and was a Top 20 dog in 2012. Wow!! Ryder was the happiest dog I have ever had or known. He was the boy that always had a way to make everyone that he met smile. Of course he did have his own fan club. Ryder’s Rooters. Ryder took me on a journey that I could have never dreamed of when I brought the cutest puppy home. Because of him, I have made ever lasting friendships, learned more about dogs, showing, breeding and puppies than I could have imagined. Dog people that have become family, but most of all Ryder made my heart smile. All the time. 
Ryder will live on through his kids, grand kids and great grand kids around the world. We await the arrival of his great grand kids this weekend here at Soulryde Dalmatians. Ryder you are my heart, my soul, the start and the face of Soulryde Dalmatians. To the boy that loved everyone he met and made me a better person. I am smiling through all my tears. I love you forever Ryder. You will always be my boy.
